Training at the Hague Academy for Local Governance

Don Seufert served as key expert and discussant at The Hague Academy for Local Governance earlier in November. He led training on fragility, decentralization, and local governance, and applying political economy in fragile contexts. The workshop was sponsored by DeLoG, the Development Partners Network for Decentralization and Local Governance, and included development professionals from an array of donor and implementing agencies from the European Union and UN.

Local Governance Program for northern Nigeria

Don Seufert recently concluded 28 months as Chief of Party for USAID/Nigeria's local governance program LEAD (Leadership, Empowerment, Advocacy & Development). The project was conducted in areas threatened by the Boko Haram terrorist group.
