Valentino Grbovac
Associate Fellow, Democracy and Governance

Valentino Grbavac is a scholar specializing in the politics and security of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His recent book, Unequal Democracy: The Political Position of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina explores the country's current political and security crisis and offers policy solutions for stabilization and democratization. He was a Fellow at Georgetown University's Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies, a Wallenberg International Fellow, a Co-Chair of Princeton University's project "US Foreign Policy and Conflict Resolution: Fostering Regional Stability," a PPIA (Public Affairs and International Relations) Fellow and is an Associate at the Institute for Social and Political Research in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He obtained his Master's Degree from Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and BA from Macalester College.
